Ronit Abigail Lane Have started her studies of Art at Avni fine art & design college of art (Jafa /Israel)
Continue to study in jerusalem with a Russian Academic Artist: Inga Steinberg in the artist Atelier.
Continue her study in London at an art atelier, in the classical tradition.
Developing over the years her unique style of Working with soft Pastels in a traditional way.
The Artist main interest was focus on studying the anciant greek sculptures, to gain knowledge and understanding of the easthetic principle that led the anciant greek Art.
Art became a gate, a sacred tool of expression to those principles.
The artist main focus became to deepen her understanding of the order exist in the universe and to develop the awareness to the eastetic principle that exist in the universe, & Art as a way to explore and discover those principle. Deep Gratitude to the beauty of nature, To the endless variations of forms, colours, and Values, is a natural result of observation and paying attention.
Art is all about learning to see clearly, to be in the moment and to pay attention.
To learn the principle of unity, to learn from nature about harmony and beauty, about the natural order that exist in the universe that we are all part of.

Working with Soft Pastel
Soft pastel as a medium is very direct and versatile to work with.
It is also a very "forgiving" Medium, that allow us to make mistakes and learn from them..
Working with soft pastel, is working with layer on a toned pastel-mat.
There are great pastel surfaces to choose from, including sanded ones that are lovely surfaces to work with, as we can work with many layers.
We can also makes our own surface with watercolour good paper, ground it and toned it, to be used for pastels.
It is very important to use good quality soft pastels, like sennelier or Unison, which is hand made pastels.
With more then twenty years of experience with this facinating medium, ever new, always finding new ways to work, combining the classical tradition of working with pastels, The Art Classes are a place to share this experience with new students, So the students can develop the skills, That makes Art an enjoyable process.
Studied at Fine Art college, as well as working alongside and learning with great teachers, an art tutor herself, working mainly in soft pastels fascinated by this amazing medium and developed over the years her own style and signature, Soft pastels with their endless possibilities are always vibrant and fresh it just feels like the right medium to explore further and deeper into it.
